Why Buy in the WInter

Many people think that there is a good and bad season for buying and selling homes. 

But here is why I think buying in the Winter is a great option. 

1. There are fewer buyers in the market which increases your negotiating leverage. Sellers may be more motivated.

2. The homes will never look worse than they do. You get to look forward to the bulbs that are in the yard coming up in the Spring for big beautiful surprises. 

3. Homes can close faster since the trades people you need in the process are less busy. Inspectors, appraisers, etc...

4. You can be amazed (or appalled) that your Realtor is still walking around in a kilt and flip flops.
